El Portal is a small town which comes on the way to San Francisco and Yosemite. This town is located only twenty kilometers from Yosemite, on the banks of the Merced River. You can choose between two hotels: one country house style or a bed & breakfast. In the village, there is a small shop and a gas station. If you wish, you can participate in many outdoor activities with the locals and feel like another inhabitant.

Mammoth Lakes Mountain Ski Area:

Located southeast of Yosemite National Park, the Mammoth area offers all kinds of recreational activities, as well as events and festivals organized throughout the year.
